I need to prove that I’m with it. I’m hip. I’m down with all you youthy cats. And that’s why I’ve been listening to Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance this week. This video has 110,000,000 hits on it. What could make me more popular with the youts of today?

Okay, I really do love this song. But better than her music is her take on the avant-garde. She has captured perfectly the inner madness that springs from the desire to escape the prison of her soul and claw her way to meet a man who has golden pieces covering his cheeks and jowls and who she will dominate with her over-sized oval eyes in a bad romance novel sort of way. Beautiful work.

She may be a nutcase, but, wow, I love this video. I have to thank my wife for turning me on to the Gaga.
